Description: In making my work, I tend to jump back and forth between traditional painting media and digital forms.
I find this juxtaposition to be an important factor that helps push the boundaries of my art making. My purpose in using traditional and digital forms together is to explore arrangements of objects, that could not be combined otherwise, to create interesting compositions in visual art. As a result, the analogy of organic versus mechanical has become an underlying theme in my work. I feel that this topic has many contemporary implications that show through, literally and figuratively, in my art.
