Global Game Jam
Students, professionals, and enthusiasts from around the world create playable games over the same 48-hours during the Global Game Jam. Held in late January, developers at each local site adhere to the same global theme with the option to undertake additional constraints. The 2011 Madison Jam was held at the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery and produced eight games, four of which are displayed here. The theme for 2011 was "Extinction".
