Description: “DNA Replication Made Frizzy” animates the process of DNA replication using legos as nucleotides and gloved hands as enzymes.

Each enzyme is represented using a different color glove, while each nucleotide is represented by a different color lego. This tutorial specifically focuses on transcription and the essential enzymes involved. The sequences of nucleotide addition and enzymatic joining or cleavage proceed in specific directions and in specific orders. Ms. Frizzie, a whimsical, funny character, guides the audience through the sequence of events that occur during transcription, beginning with a single strand of DNA and resulting in a replicated strand of DNA.
